About Me

Hi, I’m Chelsea! Welcome to my blog 🙂 I needed a creative outlet in my life, so here it is!  I have been wanting to do this forever, but I got a little wrapped up in choosing the perfect platform, the perfect content, the perfect pictures…I was also a tad self-conscious about the idea of no one reading this, but I feel like I’m bubbling over with things to say and share, so take it or leave it haha–either is fine with me 🙂 I decided to just wing it, make mistakes, and learn as I go.  I am hoping  to write about a couple different things: my first home, my pets, and my twenties.  I’m sure the content will evolve as I go, but this is what I’m starting out with! I have named my blog Me, Myself & Ivy.  For those of you that don’t know, Ivy is my cat, and for a while it was just me and her.  I adopted her in 2013 at the beginning of my sophomore year of college at Ohio State University (best $40 I ever spent!).  Ivy graduated college with me, and then we moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan for my first post-graduation job.

Now, we live in Royal Oak, Michigan in my first home (eeek!), and I have since added to the household.  My friend Katie lives with us, and I adopted another cat and a dog, Cleopatra and George.  However, “Me, Myself, & Ivy” has a nice ring to it, and for me, this short phrase means a lot.  It means independence, fun, strength, courage, learning, love, humility, endurance–encompassing life at 25 I suppose. I’m navigating through my early life on my own with a little help from my friends and family as well as the unconditional love from my pets ♥
